The biggest benefit from building front-end layer on top of Confluence with Refined, is that the lay out of pages can be designed in a more user friendly way, making the adoption of Atlassian products for non-tech teams much smoother.
Landing pages can be customized for specific activities and audiences with navigation modules, search banners, embedded html code, etc., providing easy pathways toward the required destinations.
When users arrive at the page they were looking for, a page tree remains visible on the left-hand side — just as it is in Confluence—but in addition to that tree they have a much more customized and intuitive path towards the pages they need. Plus, the page tree itself can be further filtered, so that only relevant to this specific page content is visible.
