Initial Requirements

  • A team of 3 startup co-founders needs to quickly start planning and coordinating work

  • One co-founder is a software developer and will apply Scrum framework and Jira Software projects for his work and his future team

  • Two other co-founders have business/legal background and plan to work in Agile mode. They asked for an intuitive interface similar to Monday.com to be built on Jira platform.

  • Tech and Business stakeholders need to be on the same page and align their work around mid- and -short term goals

    • e.g. prioritize backlog based on what would be the next expected funding round and what are the key functionalities that will prove the value for the customer, etc.

  • The setup should allow for tracking key startup metrics for potential investors

  • Finance and accounting functionality for tracking early expenses and time invested, which will help with building cap tables in future.
