Reusing Existing Data Models

The solution will integrate with and utilize existing data models as a default approach. This strategy is aimed at leveraging the established data structures to facilitate seamless integration and continuity in reporting.

Criteria for Data Model Transformation

  • In instances where an existing data model exhibits serious issues in terms of consistency or normality that could potentially compromise the overall system design, a transformation of the data model will be necessary.

  • The decision to transform a data model will be based on a thorough evaluation to ensure that such a step is essential for the integrity and functionality of the system.

Support for Data Correction and Cleansing

  • In cases where data model transformation is required, the Contractor will provide support for data correction and cleansing activities.

  • This process will be undertaken in collaboration with the Customer, ensuring that the data remains accurate, relevant, and consistent with the needs of the new system.

By adhering to these guidelines, the solution aims to strike a balance between preserving historical data integrity and ensuring the robustness and effectiveness of the overall system architecture.
